Nomadic Air — Inward motion
Nomadic Air unfolds within contemporary poetic abstraction as a space of movement rather than stillness. In this 30 x 30 inch format (76.2 x 76.2 cm), the painting opens into a field that is not fixed, but continuously traversed.
Soft whites and diffused blues establish an atmospheric depth, while oxidized reds and denser material passages emerge intermittently, marking points of tension without anchoring the composition. These elements do not settle, they shift, dissolve, and reappear within the pictorial space.
Here, gesture is both restrained and mobile. Each mark carries the sense of transit, as if guided by an internal current linking the painting’s different zones. This controlled instability creates a subtle yet persistent tension between grounding and drift.
Nomadic Air does not describe a place, but a state,  one of ongoing transformation. 
The viewer is invited to move through the work rather than observe it from a distance, engaging with its intervals, its pauses, and its underlying momentum.
